Am 13. Juni 2023 fand die Konferenz „Recht, Gefängnisse und die kurdische Frage“ statt, an der MAF-DAD beteiligt war.
Das erste Panel — „Judicialization of Politics in Turkey“ — wurde von Paula Martin Ponz (IACTA, Feministische Kooperative der Anwältinnen) moderiert. Es behandelte den Einfluss der Justiz auf den politischen Prozess in der Türkei (Rechtsanwalt Faik Özgür Erol, Asrın-Rechtsbüro), die Verrechtlichung der Politik als zeitgenössische Fallstudie (Prof. Louis Lemkow, Katalonien, Vorstand der ELDH) und die Nichtumsetzung von EGMR-Urteilen mit Blick auf Osman Kavala und Selahattin Demirtaş.
Weitere Beiträge galten den Beobachtungen und Empfehlungen internationaler Delegationen (Rechtsanwältin Miriam Frieding, Mitglied der Gefängnisdelegation 2023) sowie den Entscheidungen des Ministerkomitees und dem Recht auf Hoffnung (Rechtsanwältin Rengin Ergül).

On 13 June 2023 the conference “Law, Prisons, and the Kurdish Issue” was held, with MAF-DAD among the participants.
The first panel — “Judicialization of Politics in Turkey” — was moderated by Paula Martin Ponz (IACTA, Feminist Cooperative of Women's Lawyers). It addressed the impact of the judiciary on the political process in Turkey (lawyer Faik Özgür Erol, Asrın Law Office), the judicialization of politics as a contemporary case study (Prof. Louis Lemkow, Catalonia, ELDH executive), and the failure to implement ECtHR judgments with regard to Osman Kavala and Selahattin Demirtaş.
Further contributions covered the observations and recommendations of international delegations (lawyer Miriam Frieding, member of the 2023 prison delegation) and the decisions of the Committee of Ministers and the right to hope (lawyer Rengin Ergül).
